When I make a bag for my Diva Cup, it might have to have this image on it.
In Egyptian mythology, Sekhmet was originally the warrior goddess of Upper Egypt. She is depicted as a lioness, the fiercest hunter known to the Egyptians. It was said that her breath created the desert. She was seen as the protector of the pharaohs and led them in warfare.
As Lower Egypt had been conquered by Upper Egypt, Sekhmet was seen as the more powerful of the two warrior goddesses, the other, Bast, being the similar warrior goddess of Lower Egypt. Consequently, it was Sekhmet who was seen as the Avenger of Wrongs, and the Scarlet Lady, a reference to blood, as the one with bloodlust. She also was seen as a special goddess for women, ruling over menstruation.

good background music. lots of chiming and bells. played well with my mindless template letters at work.
it is true about that organizational motto, "a place for everything and everything in its place." it is the way to go. be it boxes, hooks, jars, whatever, stuff has to have a home or it is impossible to put away. look at the success in this crafty little room.
while i am painfully aware of the value of this truism, i have never put it into practice. is this denial about the stuff that clutters my space? perhaps my belief that i should have no stuff makes me label my messy room contents as things that are going to go away, and therefore do not need to be bothered with.
i seem to be capable of making the chaos work, but i would prefer a real solution. help!

Create a cool robot from scratch--in just a few hours!
Ever wonder what to do with those discarded items in your junk drawer? Now you can use electronic parts from old Walkmans, spare remote controls, even paper clips to build your very own autonomous robots and gizmos. Get step-by-step instructions from the Junkbot masters for creating simple and fun self-guiding robots safely and easily using common and not-so-common objects from around the house--or within a quick shopping trip away. Using BEAM technology, ordinary tools, salvaged electronic bits, and the occasional dead toy, you'll be able to construct a solar-powered obstacle-avoiding device, engineer a mini-sumo-wrestling robot, build a motorized walking robot bug, and much more. So grab your screwdriver, raid that dumpster, and join the robot-building revolution!
- Get an overview of basic electronics, robot construction methods, and learn the difference between "dead bug" and "live bug" electronics
- Identify the essential tools you need for mechanical assembly and gain important safety tips
- Find out why BEAM robotics is a growing alternative to traditional CPU-based robotics
- Learn "dumpster diving" strategies for collecting prime robot construction material that's available no other way
- Use a cell phone battery or solar panel from a calculator to create dual-power sources for your robot
- Understand how to use soldering equipment and various support tools
"When you have drunk an entire bottle of white wine, coaxing a rather skittish garden spider into a clear plastic tumbler using only an old birthday card becomes more of a challenge to hand-eye coordination than it is at other times; a challenge that is not helped by a partially unclothed fiancée on the edge of hysterics, who, despite her announcement that she would wait in the kitchen, is instead leaning over your shoulder and offering advice."

something about this deep buzzing bassline is working for me right now. soft, low vocals. file into the sad and beautiful category.
