get some striped cloth or better some plaid cloth, drape it over something so that it has interesting folds. shine a directional light on it so that it has shadows. draw draw draw. you could draw it just with lines, exploring how to map out the pattern over the curves and tucks in the fabric. you could draw it with lines and shading, exploring the different shadows and reflected light you see.
i just got a moka pot. i await the yif to come to town and experiment with this brewing process.
